Nimene Sierra Wureh is a Broadway actress, professional auntie, and rising creative force from Minneapolis, Minnesota. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she made her principal Broadway debut in August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone alongside Taraji P. Henson and Cedric the Entertainer. Her additional Broadway credits include Mary Jane starring Rachel McAdams and Our Town starring Jim Parsons and Katie Holmes.

Beyond the stage, Nimene is an acclaimed podcast performer and host. Her work on the Story Pirates Podcast has contributed to 3 Webby Awards and 2 iHeartRadio Awards for Best Kids & Family Podcast. She also hosts History Remixed, produced by Questlove and Jonathan Glickman.
